Olympic Lifting techniques

The athletic benefits of Olympic lifting are second to none. Name some qualities that an athlete may require and Olympic lifts can get you there; strength, power, speed, you name it, Olympic lifts can help you achieve it. Since their introduction to programming for athletes in the 1950’s, high school, collegiate, and pro strength coaches have realized that athletes who Olympic lift, have the ability to succeed on the field or court.

" I have seen some female bodybuilders who are very muscular and look similar to men in their build.” The real reason they look like that is they are most-likely using exogenous testosterone injections and/or other anabolic steroids.


This is not to say that you will not gain any muscle, you will, but you will not gain muscle like a man. Instead, you will become toned and shapely.

The dynamic nature of the kettlebell will give you an all-in-one workout of a lifetime, combining both strength and cardio aspects. The kettlebell’s unique shape (the handle, the bulk of the weight massed into a dense ball) is obviously different than that of a dumbbell. This shape allows the body to perform a multitude of ballistic and grind exercises in a natural, fluid motion.




Functional Training

Life is unpredictable and unstable. So why would you develop your training using stable and predictable routines and equipment? No matter your fitness goal, treat variety and practical application as critical components of your training. You don’t live in a vacuum, so why would you train in one?


You use basic functional movement patterns like pushing, pulling, hinging, squatting, rotating, carrying and  gait patterns (walking and running) every day.


Nutrition and Weight Loss.

Exercise is not always enough! If you need help with weight loss, high blood pressure or cholesterol or managing your diabetes, we will point you in the right direction of who to see. We have staff qualified to counsel you on ways to meet your nutritional needs and health goals. We offer a comprehensive range of services about healthy eating, preventive nutrition and lifestyle choices.


Stretch Clinic

Almost everyone can benefit from stretching the soft tissues - the muscles, ligaments and tendons - in the back, legs, buttock, and around the spine.


The spinal column and its contiguous muscles, ligaments, and tendons are all designed to move, and limitations in this motion can make back pain worse.




Clinics are 60 minute introductory sessions in a group maximum of 6 people.
